I was there as a: Overnight RV'er, Family with children
What a wonderful campground! I camped in early June in a group of 3 sites with single parents each with 2 children. Mine are 3 yr old twins. The sites were grassy with clean cement decks to park next to. They were divided with nicely trimed trees allowing us to always have some area with shade as well as the option to be warmed by the sunshine. The campground was busy due to the many things to do. Our children rode bikes and trikes on the roads as all traffic was respectful of speed limits and the family friendly environment. They ran up and down the length of the beach, which was freshly raked each morning. The swimming pool was clean and clear and WARM! My twins enjoyed their first hay wagon ride in the evening. We explored the hole property on bicycles towing trailers to find the best spot for us on a future visit. There are several different areas each with a unique feel. I would think there is something here for everyone. Thanks to all staff at Fisherman's Cover for a great weekend. My daughter didn't want to leave.
